Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapy services at IICA offer a collaborative and client-driven approach to help promote success and increase independence in all aspects of daily living for adults and children. Our experienced occupational therapists work closely with our clients and their families to develop and achieve measurable goals based on comprehensive assessments.

What are occupations? Occupations include activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, rest and sleep, work, education, play, leisure, health management, and social participation. Through therapeutic intervention, our therapists can help increase independence for daily life skills and build functional skills required for essential daily routine activities. Since play is a child’s primary occupation, at IICA, our occupational therapists use a play-based approach to achieve their goals.

We offer 30-minute sessions in-clinic or telehealth video appointments with a qualified Occupational Therapist. Telehealth sessions are only recommended on a case-by-case basis.
